Doggie Fashion Statement?

The fashion police ARE the police in Germany these days. Police officers are requiring their patrol pooches to wear shoes. Seems it's better than dealing with all the paw injuries they get walking their beats.

A police spokesperson said he wasn't sure the dogs liked it but "they'll have to get use to it."

I hope they don't get too used to them. Fitting them in after-work stilletos could be a killer. And expensive, if they take a liking to Jimmy Choos.
